In 1767, in Versailles, Louis XV apes the letter patent conferring on the Cristalleries Saint-Louis the title of royal manufacture. This invisible link that unites the two places is renewed through the ages and the pieces (Trianon glasses, Versailles vases...).

In 2019, the Palace of Versailles and Saint-Louis continue the adventure with the boxes "La Galerie des rois", then in 2020 "La Galerie des reines": "Four centuries of creation, four Kings, four decorative styles for four cups". Patrick Neu, in charge of creation for Saint-Louis, imagined the friezes.
